Solar Cell Phone Charger

I was thinking about the people in Haiti and thinking how awful that might be.  I was also thinking about how we take so much for granted and how in a moment of time life can change.  It made me think about trying to be prepared for things.  I've seen solar cell phone chargers before and always thought, why?  I guess they'd be great while you were at a soccer game or something.

Now I'm thinking they might not be such a bad thing to have is something happened.  If the cell phones worked I'd hate for mine to just have a dead battery.
